Anchor Point Hub
It Takes a Village.
Restore. Innovate. Reconnect.
Anchor Point Hub is a European-style village you could spend a whole afternoon in, at least, that's the plan. We're hoping to build it in Herriman, UT, though nothing is set yet. It could end up anywhere, but if not Herriman, we're hoping for somewhere in the Southwest Valley since that's our home. That'll be decided once we find the right developer and the right land.
But this isn't a one-place idea. We believe this model belongs anywhere a community genuinely wants it. If you're a developer or landowner elsewhere who sees what we're building and thinks your community deserves the same thing, we'd love to talk, we'll research, survey, and design it to actually fit your area, not just copy what we've built here.

Who is This For?
Why Anchor Point Hub Exists:
We built Anchor Point Hub because people need a place to belong.
Utah is one of the fastest-growing states in the nation, yet loneliness touches every generation, from kids to teens to parents to retirees. Anchor Point Hub is our answer: a European-inspired village you can spend the whole day in, in the heart of the Southwest Valley, where learning, connection, celebration, small business, and everyday life all happen in the same place, together, a place for every generation, and every ability, to belong.
We also wanted to bring something different here: a small taste of Europe for anyone who might never get the chance to travel there themselves. And if this village is the first of more, our hope is that each one will feel like its own trip somewhere new, this one is Europe, the next could be South America, or somewhere else entirely, built with whatever community it's part of, and shaped by what that place actually needs.
It Takes a Village. Restore. Innovate. Reconnect.
"Perhaps what is missing for many young people in the United States is not activities but a true sense of community and a place where teenagers can simply spend time together."
— Lillith, 18, Germany. Exchange student who lived in Herriman, Utah 2024–2025

What Our Community Is Saying
Real organizations. Real contacts. Ready before the building opens.
Backed By One of Utah's Elected Leaders
Mayor Lorin Palmer, Herriman City
"Anchor Point Hub is more than a commercial development. It is a vision for creating a destination where families, youth, educators, entrepreneurs, artists, and community organizations can gather, learn from one another, and build lasting relationships."
Mental Health & Community Voices
Sarah Chamberlain, Co-Founder, BE.IRL
“I wholeheartedly support Katrina’s vision for Anchor Point Hub and believe it fills a genuine gap in our community.”
Ryan Peterson, LCMHC, Founder, The Living Room Therapy + Wellness
"No single community project can solve every mental health challenge our society faces. However, communities intentionally designed to strengthen relationships create protective factors that support resilience, emotional well-being, and hope long before someone reaches the point of needing professional therapy."
Beyond space tenants, we’re also building partnerships that help our community actually get to Anchor Point Hub.
Community & Service Partners
DayBreak Transportation (Veronica Smithen, Owner, South Jordan)
“I would love the opportunity to help provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation for these students.”

This isn’t one program with some extras attached. It’s five buildings, working as one village:
KREO COMMONS
A home for learning and creativity, ten classrooms, a 500-seat auditorium, a full gymnasium, a teaching kitchen, and studios for art, pottery, and STEM and so much more.
THE GREENHOUSE AND MARKET
Will be a working greenhouse and farm-to-table market at the heart of Kreo Commons, bringing fresh, local produce and a genuine farm connection into the Village. Alongside our farm partners, we're building space for local growers, makers, and artisans to sell their own goods, a year-round farmers market woven right into daily village life, not just a seasonal event. We're in active conversations with established Utah farms to bring this space to life.
THE PLOT
The Plot is Anchor Point Hub’s own building for teens ages 12–18. Not a corner of a bigger building, not an afterthought a full space shaped directly by input from over 107 local teens. Bowling, an escape room, a maker’s workshop, quiet retreat space, and a 16+ lounge teens will count down the years to join. Built from what they actually told us they wanted, and we’re still listening.
CORNERSTONE EVENT HALL
Will be a space for life’s milestones weddings, reunions, recitals, and community gatherings that bring generations together under one roof.
THE VILLAGE
8+ retail storefronts featuring authentic, story-driven restaurants, bakeries, delis, and cafés, real family recipes, real heritage, real craftsmanship, alongside artisan makers and specialty shops, Secret Garden plaza, Central Courtyard, 20 residential apartments, second-floor wellness suites
All-Abilities Playground
Every child deserves a place to play. Our all-abilities playground will be designed so children of every ability and every kind of need can play side by side, together. Belonging starts young, and every child should have a place in the village from day one.
A Calendar Built for Connection
Oktoberfest, Eurovision watch parties, Traditional Music Nights, Soccer Saturdays our future events calendar exists for one reason: to bring people together, again and again.

Designed With Real Input
We take building this with the community, and for the community, seriously Every design decision and every intention behind it exists because we’re listening.
